"What can I say about Stacey except that she has "the groove". Not only is she a warm, sweet, generous and patient person, she brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and great music to her classes that inspires and motivates you to be a better dancer. She runs a well rounded class that challenges you physically, as well, which in turn provides a great workout with no pressure. I would highly recommend her to anyone who would like to get fit and learn about the beautiful African culture at the same time. I've had a great time!"

How does a combined African drum and dance class work?
Everyone participates in at least 30 mins in West African styles of drumming including djembe and dun dun. Drums provided or byo.
The rhythm gains tempo then the dancers will begin movement and enjoy dancing to a live drumming ensemble, that's you! Give yourself permission to shine and enjoy the addictive energy that African drum and dance has to offer. The feeling you get from playing and dancing to the flavoursome rhythms is phenomenal. It helps breakdown barriers and instil a sense of enjoyment among groups and individuals. Those who enjoy African drum and dance take home an experience of teamwork and unity among a group regardless of their music background. Drumdance is a well rounded class that challenges you physically and emotionally.
